The model MB manual balancing shutoff and metering valve consists of a combination ball valve union with a low loss venturi device which results in very low turbulence and high accuracy flow readings. The MB is unlike the circuit setter type valves which require reading the differential pressure across a partially opened valve creating high turbulence and low accuracy.
